Engineering
Our engineering department finds solutions to complex questions with technically justified responses. Our task starts with pre-engineering, which involves estimating how the cargo will fit onto the vessels with respect to geometry, weight, centre of gravity and internal strength. To determine, in mutual discussion with the client, how the load should be physically transported from one part of the world to another - and on which terms.
Once the order is confirmed, we will work out the details and see where and how we can optimise. In this way, a stowage plan and proposal for the lashing are created that we can present to the principal. Then we prepare the working plans and make the associated calculations, taking in to account the loading and discharge procedures, the stowage, lashing, and all nautical aspects en route.
